40th Annual AFSA Competition welcomed TWO of Rapid Fire’s Finest!

Fall is in the air and the taste of competition was in full throttle this year at the National AFSA Competition! Rapid Fire had the privilege of sending not one, but two of our team to represent their knowledge in the trade. This year’s competition was held in San Antonio, Texas. Along with top-notch training, continuing education and the chance to show off excellence in the trade, this year’s competition brought a new experience for our team. Two contenders. Two opportunities to get in front of other experts in the trade. Two increasing value in their own expertise within that trade. What an opportunity to build team and have intentional time with a fellow coworker, sharing in work experiences and developing relationships!

This year’s contenders were Connor Jones, a level 7 Apprentice out of our Utah region, and Corten Dobesh, a level 5 Apprentice out of our Rapid City home office. Both brought valuable traits and we were excited to be able to support them in this opportunity. Connor began employment with Rapid Fire back on July 1st of 2019. Corten joined our team a week prior on June 24, 2019. Turns out that was great week for onboarding! Both did well in the competition. Connor walked away with 2nd place! Way to go guys!
